Participants below the age of 18 are required to obtain parental/guardian’s consent failing which, the Organizer reserves the right to refuse entry to any participants under the age of 18. This Contest shall commence from 8th May 2026 and end on 10th May 2026, both dates inclusive (“Contest Period”). To stand a chance to win a prize  in this Contest, participants have to: （i）Visit “988 Sound Festival” during the Contest Period. （ii）Go to 988 booth, present 988 mobile app to the ground staff to collect a participation form. （iii）Complete the participation form by providing the necessary personal details and answer all questions. PRIVACY STATEMENT RELATING TO THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA OF PARTICIPANTS (this “Notice”)  14.1 The Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (“PDPA”) was introduced by the Government of Malaysia to govern/regulate the processing of the personal data (“Personal Data”) in commercial transactions. 汽车保险“赔多过赚”！去年综合赔付率高达103%，意味着该业务处于亏损状态，其中宝腾（Proton）X50与X70最频繁索赔！ 大马普通保险公会（PIAM）数据显示，去年车险占普险整体保费的45.2%，理赔压力持续加剧。 普险公会总执行长蔡金顺指出，目前私家车理赔率维持在7%以上，作为大马市场的主流车型，宝腾X50和 X70的理赔频率尤为显著，主要集中在年轻驾驶者群体。 “由于受零件价格通胀影响，私家车的平均索赔金额在2025年上涨至8831令吉，其中宝腾和宝腾X50的零件成本上涨最为明显。” 他补充，依赖进口零件的车型，更容易受到汇率与供应链波动影响，推高维修费用。 他说，人身伤亡赔偿也正成为变量之一，随着法庭赔偿金额不断提高，个案赔偿额从过去约50万令吉，跃升至超过100万令吉，甚至出现高达800万令吉的案例。 他说，我国车险责任赔偿“无上限”，已进一步放大风险敞口。 此外，约80%的交通事故源于人为失误，酒驾仅占低个位数。 普险业也密切观察电动化、数码化及自动驾驶技术对车险业务带来的风险概况。 我国普险业在2025年总承保保费（GWP）按年增长4.8%至242亿令吉，行业承保盈利则增加1亿2500万令吉至12亿令吉，综合赔付率维持在93%的水平。 （整理自《中国报》）

一名8岁女童在校门口不幸遭客货车撞倒身亡，涉案60岁司机被警方延扣3天协助调查。 这起意外于昨日中午约12时30分，在巴力士隆斯里迈曼国小（SK Seri Maimon）校门前发生。 峇株巴辖警区主任沙鲁安努助理总监指出，该辆客货车当时在校内送完货后准备离开，驶出校门时，撞倒在门的二年级学生诺艾妮，她头部重创及内出血，当场死亡。 警方目前援引1987年陆路交通法令第41（1）条文（鲁莽驾驶导致死亡）展开调查。 女童遗体已于昨午送往医院解剖，并于当晚由家属领出安葬。 死者母亲阿斯米拉受访时透露，事发当天因需照顾刚从幼稚园回家的幼子，稍晚几分钟才前往学校接女儿，当她抵达校门口时，发现现场有人群围观，并从学生口中听到女儿的名字，才惊觉噩耗。 “老师告诉我躺在地上的就是我的孩子时，我整个人瘫软。她的伤势太严重，我不忍心再看。” 她说，平日已叮嘱女儿放学后应在校内等候，但事发时不清楚为何女儿会走到校门外。 她也坦言，自己尚未从接连失去亲人的悲痛中走出，如今再失去女儿，打击沉重，但仍需坚强面对生活。 另一方面，父亲阿末法力在医院太平间领取女儿遗体时表示，选择原谅肇祸司机。 柔佛州教育局发文告向家属致以慰问，并表示将提供适当援助，协助减轻家属负担。 （整理自《东方日报》）

吉打州政府强势回击外界“唱衰”浮罗交怡旅游业的声音，直言有关说法带有政治色彩，呼吁外界以更理性、客观的角度看待当地旅游发展，。 吉打州旅游、文化、艺术及企业家事务委员会主席莫哈末沙烈赛丁深夜在社交媒体发文，点名回应士布爹国会议员郭素沁的言论。针对对方形容官方数据“suam-suam kuku（不冷不热）”，他反击指，这些数据其实已足以打破“浮罗交怡低迷”的说法。 对于郭素沁将浮罗交怡与普吉岛、峇厘岛直接对比，他更直言这种比较“太表面”，不仅忽略历史与发展背景，也缺乏基本的专业判断。 他指出，普吉岛早于1970年代便开始发展旅游业，而峇厘岛更早在1920年代已吸引国际游客；反观浮罗交怡当年仍深受“玛苏丽诅咒”传说影响，历史发展背景截然不同。 他也说，普吉岛与峇厘岛早已是国家重点打造的国际旅游重镇，航班、政策与资源全面加持；反观浮罗交怡规模与定位本就不同，不能简单“硬碰硬”比较。 针对“州政府放手不管”的说法，他则强调，州政府一直积极推动旅游发展，并与浮罗交怡发展局（LADA）保持合作关系。 不过，他也点出关键真正的“操盘手”在联邦政府，包括航班、机场、签证、邮轮等关键政策，都不是州政府能单独决定。 谈到长期困扰的客船问题，他更是直言不讳：“浮罗交怡几乎都快和客船问题画上等号了，但解决方案在哪里？”，并透露已多次向联邦政府反映，强调客船服务不应完全商业化，因为这关系到岛民的基本生活。 他最后呼吁，若真心想帮浮罗交怡，就应从政策层面着手，而不是用言论“拉低形象”。 他也提醒，旅游发展不是靠口号或单一活动，而是需要长期策略与合作推动。 尽管面对各种争议，他强调吉打州政府在发展旅游业时不会“为赚钱而妥协”，仍会坚守宗教与文化价值。“无论眼前利益有多大，我们都不会牺牲这些价值。”       （报导整理自《东方日报》）

巫统与希盟达成共识，继续维持森美兰州团结政府的合作关系，以确保州内稳定与人民福祉。 希盟总秘书赛夫丁和巫统总秘书阿斯拉夫发布联合声明表示，由首相安华与副首相阿末扎希共同主持的巫统与希望联盟团结政府领导层协商理事会，昨晚召开会后，达成3个共识与决定。 这3个共识包括尊重双方政治局在森州课题上的既定立场、继续在森美兰维持团结政府合作关系及凡涉及敏感或可能引发分歧的州政府决策，须立即提呈理事会商议。 （整理自《星洲日报》）
